Request your LinkedIn data

Free — LinkedIn emails you a download link within 10 minutes

  1. Go to LinkedIn → Settings & Privacy
  2. Click Data Privacy in the left menu
  3. Click "Get a copy of your data"
  4. Select "Want something in particular?"
  5. Select "Want something in particular?" — not "Request all"
  6. Tick: Profile, Connections, Positions, Education, Skills, Recommendations
  7. ⚠️ "Request all" does not include Connections — always use "Want something in particular?"
  8. Click Request archive — LinkedIn emails you a link

Click the link in the LinkedIn email to download

  1. Open the email from LinkedIn: "Your LinkedIn data archive is ready"
  2. Click Download archive
  3. Save the .zip file to your computer — don't unzip it
